Club Tarneit is open and ready to redefine local entertainment and community hospitality.

This new venue features a range of facilities including a sports bar, a 200-seat bistro, café, and a state-of-the-art function space designed to accommodate up to 400 guests.

Owned by the Werribee Football Club and located next to Westbrook, it promises a new leisure destination with local employment opportunities.

More than 40 new jobs have been created to run the venue.

At the launch event Marshall Dennis, Deputy Chairman and Director of Ranfurlie Asset Management, said it’s a strategic addition to a fast growing residential and commercial hub.

“It’s set up for success, not just in the build but in how enthusiastic the local community is about it,” Dennis said.

“Club Tarneit adds a new dimension as a premium hospitality venue that’s here for the community.

“We’re honoured to be part of the process – six years in the making to where we stand today.”

Cameron Male, CEO of Ranfurlie Asset Management, is very happy to have delivered the company’s first hospitality destination.

“Tim Crowe, our Development Manager, spent a lot of time visiting Melbourne hospitality venues, clubs and pubs with our architects and designers to develop a concept that would best serve the local community – we were starting from scratch,” Male said.

“Club Tarneit will help set the Werribee Football Club up as an independent sporting club for many years to come.”

Fostering community involvement and providing local services all align with the broader goal of a vibrant and inclusive community space.

Meeting space that’s not booked is available for free to local community groups.

A key feature behind the scenes is a central kitchen designed to serve a 200-seat bistro on ground level and also a 200-seat function centre above.

“Rather than build two kitchens, one was designed that connects to the upstairs function centre by a lift, this means food for events can be delivered and heated in the function centre,” Male said.

Guests can look forward to enjoying a coffee in the double-height space of the foyer café to dining in the bistro overlooking wetlands and Skeleton Creek.

Club Tarneit is a significant investment in the local community’s social and economic well-being, setting a benchmark for future developments in the area.

Club Tarneit launched on 27 May 2024.
